I work with drawings to make digital environments, animations and dioramas.

I applied for J.G.T. funding to prepare for an exhibition at Camden Arts Centre, as part of a three year off-site residency, while their building was being refurbished. I collaborated with disabled people, with a psychologist and a professor of virtual reality. I used the residency award to make landscape drawings at the Centro Verrocchio and used the Janet Konstam fund to visit the frescos of Giotto in Padua and Assisi. This material enabled me to create a Giottoesque virtual landscape in which to set the memory drawings of six people with cerebral palsy. “Memory Island” was projected in a large scale installation and the public could navigate it using a mouse.

I enjoyed my time at the school, the views across the landscape are fantastic and it was great having time to draw and have all meals provided. I enjoyed the watercolour course which was attended by professional people on holiday at the centre.
